I know Hellzapoppin is supposed to be the best, and for sure, it made my jaw drop when I saw it.
But after watching this, I can't seem to find my jaw.

Yes, it is the Wolverines from the Twin Cities in Minnesota.

Hello Charleslindy!
The song is "Happy as the day is long" and was written for a Cotton Club show by Harold Arlen. It was recorded by Duke Ellington, in New York, on Brunswick May 9 1933.
Another great contemporary recording is Fletcher Hendesons, also made in NY, september 11 1934.
Now I´m asking: Can anyone tell me anything about the band that performs in the video?
I have absolutely no idea!

Damn, Jeremy and Laura had some really original aerials. Everyone was breathtaking - I was there and believe me, in person this competition nearly made my heart burst with lindy joy!

This is the best Lindy Hop competition I've ever seen! Congrats to Max and Annie! Their Frankie/Anne spotlight was phenomenal!
