All I see is a group of people promoting themselves. I don't see any real discussion on the pros and cons of crowdsourcing.
Howe said "technological advances have allowed for cheap consumer electronics, the gap between professionals and amateurs has been diminished". This doesn't apply to marketing issues. In physical and technical problems - a monkey can figure out what's wrong - it takes a specific skill set to solve the problem. In marketing it takes specific skills to IDENTIFY the problem.

An agency might present an idea even if they know it is bad , because they missed the deadline and the client is on their case, they will present it overtly and make it sound like it the biggest idea evaaar, but that won't ever happen with Ludvik and Victors & Spoils, these two will get more ideas than they can ever present. So yeah...let's show Madison Avenue that it is the thinker that matters not the suit.

this video really helps make all these sites more real, because there is a certain element of mistrust about some logo design and domain naming contest sites i've been on, they seem to be taking in all the ideas and awarding their own fake IDs. But this video shows that there are real people too apart from a few cheat CS sites.
