Here are my photos from Anime Detour this year.
This year I cosplayed as Date Masamune from Sengoku Basara and Germany from Axis Powers Hetalia.
I had two different cameras with me so that's why the quality of some photos are different than the others. Since not all of the photos are in this video here is a link to my Facebook photo albums if you want to see the rest of the pictures.

Although the pictures that are missing are just some of them from the Hetalia photoshoot. I had so many photos from that and I didn't have enough room for all of them in the video. Photos of other cosplayers are all in the video though.

it still kills me every year...its an ANIME convention...if you want to be a video game character...go to convergence...or like the miss frizzle...what the hell? and the joker and jack sparrow...
oh well, its fun for eveyone i guess! :D

@UberNerdMaster A bit late for a response, but know that there are a good deal of people who dress up from various video games. Team Fortress and Left 4 Dead are the two big Valve games to dress as, but you'll also see some Half-Life and Portal cosplayers. Then there are the Resident Evil cosplayers, Silent Hill....hell, even Disney and American cartoon cosplayers show up for the con.

Okay, I live in MN, love Valve games and have always wanted to dress up and go to a convention close by. The thing is- I'm not big into anime and this seems to be the only con that I'd be able to go to ... What I'm really asking is, are there others that go to Anime Detour cosplaying as video game characters that AREN'T anime? I would definitely love to go ...
