Showcase Shower Door Company of Santa Cruz, CA. This is a 3/8" frameless clear glass shower enclosure that we installed for a customer who has a Swanstone shower stall.
Clips must be used at the join between the in-line and return panel, silicone is an insufficient bond making it a safety issue. Because a frame or track was used, the entire fixed portion of this enclosure could fall with the weight of a body against it. Clear polycarbonate sweeps are also available to retain the water, (which shoud be the purpose of a shower enclosure for daily use).
Our remodeling division has used the Swanstone product and it is very durable and eliminates the need for grout joints between the tiles as well. The clear glass walls are nice to see-through into the shower - but I think a higher privacy glass (whether you use obscure glass or glass blocks) would be preferred by most people.
