  • A lion's bite force is not 1000 lb! It is only about 400-500 lb!

  • Okay we get the picture... a human couldnt beat a tiger in a fist fight.

thats why we invented the 12 gauge! =)

    Merry Christmas everyone!

  • was that a person???? o_o

  • Why is the narrator talking like he's just had a stroke?

  • No. A hyena does not have the most powerful bite pound-for-pound. The BFQ of a hyena is 142, and the BFQ of a marsupial devil is 187 - much higher than any other living animal.

  • All 3 are around 900-1000psi.

  • Thank you for puting those hyena bullshiters in there place.

  • its a dummy

  • no dummy

  • No the most powerful bite force is that of a lion and tiger, the hyena has the strongest bite force POUND-FOR-POUND.

  • OMFG! is 0:26 real?

  • let me bite the chiq for ya Doc ^^

  • I bet a full grown siberian tiger has more power. Just 'cause they are so much larger.

  • No doubt, i can back that up strongly with scientifical data aswell that Jaguars have the most powerfull jaws of all Cats... Only Spotted Hyenas have more power tho, 2nd to only Crocodiles.

  • "It has been suggested that the jaguar has the strongest bite of all felids, and the second strongest of all mammals"

So after Hyenas Jaguars have the most powerful jaws

  • Jaguars do have the most powerful jaws out of the big cats.

"A Jaguar prefers a killing method unique amongst cats: it pierces directly through the temporal bones of the skull between the ears of prey with its canine teeth, piercing the brain. "

  • Hippos have pulverized Elephants legs with their jaws when they come to close, a Crocodile may match a Hippos bite force but it does not have the huge tusks and the size of the skull

A very large Crocodile, over 3000 ibs, may be able to kill an Elephant by biting its leg and letting it bleed to death, other than that its almost impossible for a Croc to kill an Elephant

  • Err.. an Elephant cant fit in a crocs mouth and notice the smiley at the end, which means its a joke or sarcasm..

    Idiot?

  • Err yes, an elephant weights over 5 tons, that's about 5000kg, and probably about 10,000 pounds, the elephant doesn't need to bite, it just stamps on crocs.

    Idiot

  • Here Kitty Kitty Kitty !

  • wut da fuk u doin wit my fukin lion

    * wesssstsiddeeee*

  • yep! that you are correct with... Crocodiles are the only surviving ancient "dinosaurs", oldest creatures on earth and by far the most horrific creatures. With that said, they have the Bite Force no damn Animal comes even close to a Crocodile... 2nd place is Spotted Hyena with Max 1200 LBS of Pressure and that is still far away! Crocodile bite will crush an elephant with a single bite... :)

  • but the croc still is the champ when it comes to biting force.... i've seen it on national geographic 5000 biting force it was a huge croc but i wanna see it been done a huge turtle because i heard they are up there in the high thousands aswell
