CP 231 passes the hotbox detector located at mile 99 of CP's Winchester Sub, west of the village of Mountain Ont. The detector broadcasts it's location, which subdivision it's located on, which track the passing train was on, actual outside temperature, total axels it counted, then any defects it found twice.
