I love this quote, always have. Thought Id wait to use it and so glad no-one seems to have yet. And please dont use it straight away haha theres nothing more disheartening.

Its been 2 years since I brought Jd onto the yard, as my own horse.
I could never ever have imagined what an impact he would have on my life. I wasn't aware of the work that I would have to put in, or of the dissapointments and struggles I would face.

I never expected to be doing BSJA, when I bought him it was as a first horse, and if it hadn't been for an unfortunate experience I probably would never have seen this horse. And in a way I am soo grateful that I have, because nothing compares, nothing ever will. For two years he has been my life. And over the months, weeks and days I have loved him even more. I really didn't think it would be possible to love anything soo much.
What this horse means to be is hard to explain because he's not just my horse who I compete, and ride and care for. He is a metaphor of soo much more in my life. More than a security, or a leaning post. He is literally everything. I know it might seem sad to feel so stongly about something but he really and truly is so important to me. And whatever lies ahead I'll always be there for him. Regardless of anything that tries to break us. Throughout these two years we have achieved so much, been through stuff I never thought I would have to. Everything has led me closer to this horse, and I'm never going back. Loosing one of the most important people in your life leads you closer to others, and I have found the one thing that makes me irrevocably happy.

So its two years today. This video is the first part of two that Im going to put up.
I thought this was like a marker. Right now, we've been stripped back to that first year again, the very beginning. Only this time, we know eachother, and I know what he can do. I have every bit of trust in this horse and I will never give up on him. He means to much.

Anyway, sorry for rambling, I kind of felt this video needs a description?

Why do you have to do this to me? Your videos always bring out such strong reactions in me! Becca, you have an incredible aptitude for riding, and a true strength in your bond with Jd. And i would really say, that as well as your abilities with horses - you have a great one with people. You can touch hearts, and make people feel things inside without even being near them.
