Critique Of Ex-Gay Therapy Paper By Bryd, Nicolosi & Potts

This video is a criticism of the 2008 paper "Clients' Perceptions Of How Reorientation Therapy And Self-Help Can Promote Changes In Sexual Orientation" written by Dean Byrd, Joseph Nicolosi and Richard Potts.

This criticism is by Daniel Gonzales, a former patient of Dr. Nicolosi. Daniel has renounced his attempts to change his sexuality and now speaks out against "ex-gay" or "reparative therapy."

Thank you Dan for having the courage to speak up! I too am a former client of Dr. Nicolosi's. I was his patient from 1989 to 1992. I remember him telling me that it was not possible for two men to have a healthy romantic relationship. My partner and I have been together for almost 10 happy years and we look forward to many more. The key to happy relationships (whether gay or straight) is first loving yourself and accepting yourself completely! That's what people need to hear!
