Personally, I could care less about his personal life, I just love what he did

for chess. I really think he was a genius in chess. This pawn move was an

offering of giving Spassky 1 game up. Because after this, he destroyed him.

I think Fischer felt confident enough to give up a win and play mind games

with him. The whole money thing afterwards proves that Fischer knew what

he was doing in my opinion. He got the best of Spassky.
