Hamster Viking Funeral

My hamster Cora-Clarice died last Friday. I somehow felt flushing her down the bog was inappropriate. Inspired by the awesome Amon Amarth album Twilight of the Thundergod, I decided a Viking Funeral was the way forwards. I bought a small wooden boat and laid her out in it. I made a Viking helmet from tin foil and found a miniature sword to lay across her breast. The Thames is a sacred river so an ideal one to use. Some lighter fuel helped get things going, then away she went...........

@3okoro I don't see what is wrong with this, it is a much more honorable funeral than being buried in dirt.

Norse peoples gave funerals like this for centuries as a way of symbolically sailing the bodies to Valhalla.
