Great song from The Cyrkle that i could not find on youtube. Enjoy
She was here with me today

Walking softly holding hands

And I thought I heard her say

She loved me

As we walked I felt her eyes

Reaching deeply into mine

And I thought I heard her sigh

She loved me

And along the way we shared a thought or two

It seemed as if I knew her well

Then she leaned to me and as we gently kissed

I knew that moment my heart fell

She was here

Now I'm lost in wondering

As if waking suddenly

Was it real or just a dream

Where is she?

Was she really here today?

Or was I just drifting back

To the times I heard her say

She loved me

Was she really here today?

She loved me

She loved me

  • always so preppy in a good way

  • @ 1:25 "Suddenly" & @ 1:42 "Drifting Back" ATCQ...wicked!! E

  • loverly, loverly!!!

  • @LinJapanese I think Dilla was just enjoying the song, not necessarily "looking" for a sample. After all, great producers first must love music as a whole and appreciate it in its purest forms. Jay Dee did that well.

  • @widerling indeed! beatles. yes, their music was very inspirational and unique. yes, their production values were off the charts. but no, the beatles were not the only band to change the face of music. nor were they the only good band of their time. nor are they the only timeless band. 3 groups of people: a) the type that needs to get over the beatles b) the type that needs to give the beatles a chance c) the type that really dig the beatles and appreciate them for what they mean personally
