This is a video of two Cathedrals Express trips on the Paddington GWR main line from the last week.
First there is today's trip from Euston to Bristol with 70000 Britannia accelerating through Sonning Cutting towards Reading. The late-running train had just been switched on to the fast line near Twyford. This is followed by last Saturday's trip from Rainham to Shrewsbury, passing through Twyford Station on the relief line. This is the HD footage of the clip I posted on the day from my phone.
The autumn colours were looking good for Britannia in the cutting, and she was making a lovely sound as she accelerated.
