@meltogue If you have a chance to read her AUTHORIZED Autobiography "Dancing with Demons" by Penny Valentine/Vicki Wickham . Dusty hit rock bottom in L.A. Heroin ,Booze , self inflicted wounds , nermerous visits to Mental Hospitals , gay relationships ended in violence . The one Lesy she married Dusty ended up in Hospital re plastic surgery face and new teeth. She was hard to work with when she left the states no manager or record company would record her. Last 3years battling breast cancer.

And I can't even buy her CD's in New Jersey. I can't find one store that carries her music! Unbelievable. I think its great that you are contacting radio stations; I will do the same. Thank God for You Tube. I will keep you posted. Thanks.

I'm sad to say that I never hear Dusty on the radio. I've been trying to contact via telephone and e-mail local radio stations who play oldies, classic pop, early rock, etc. to see why they don't play Dusty's music now. I tell them of Dusty's universal popularity with young and "less young" folks on YouTube, but so far, the "meatheads" haven't replied.

I know Ray (arfurchance10) is doing the same. Maybe if we all started asking, we could get something going. Any thoughts?

I wish I now had named my daughter after Dusty rather than Melissa Manchester. Both are great but Dusty ohhhh w/ a name like Dusty you'd know you were named after one of the greatest!
