@mbowman90 Well, that may be the George Lucas of today, but back before CGI was invented he did have quite an eye for location shooting himself during the production of the original Star Wars trilogy. True, he only directed the first film of the trilogy, but he was still the writer and producer of the two sequels.

Great to see Andy Serkis getting what he deserves. When LOTR filming started, people had no idea of all the work that went into creating Gollum, they just saw a guy in an odd suit crawling around the place. And now: second director ( and Gollum again ofcourse! Can't wait to see the riddles!)

And this is why Peter Jackson is a true director, going out into the field, scouting, logistics along with have to think about the plot, story etc. while George Lucas just sits on his ass and says "fuck it, we will use a blue screen"
