  • I belive this is a 1948 d-28. I could see Martin producing this Limited Edition "Double Pickguard Bryan Sutton D-28" in the future. I'd buy it!!

  • @bailiffamps i can't remember if it was on any of the video's or not, but FYI - at one point he mentioned that one of the previous owners was left-handed; hence the double pick guard.

  • funny thing about this song is that he said he wasn't even warmed up yet haha

  • That was informative.

Of the 78,237 notes he plays here, I got the four hammer-ons at the beginning.

    Sort of.

  • Too fast for me to enjoy. Ass kickin' just the same.

  • Darn guys--you can hear the melody as Salt Creek in the first few bars.

  • Wow. Bryan is at the very top--with Kenny Smith, Steve Kaufman, and very few others. He might even be #1...and the tone of the Martin is unbelievable.

  • @tconnarn he's a fuckin' demon

  • I would give both of my arms in exchange for Bryan's right hand.

He has this wonderful ability of keeping the his right arm completely relaxed. It's the most difficult thing to do.

  • @snapperjohn1000 I noticed this, too, about how he works the melody, but after a few listenings, I liked it very much. Who says the melody has to be stated first? To me, this is like a great novel, or a movie, where the story is told a bit out of order - and it increases suspense and interest, and it builds to an "Aha!" moment, somewhere in the latter part of the music, and BAM, we know it's Salt Creek! -- and ah, now we understand the prior mysteries, and the ending unfolds in perfect sense.

  • pat you foot or clap slowly and you will feel where hes traveling
