June 18, 2011 .......... that's the day the music really died.
No disrespect to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens or the The Big Bopper intended.

Look at the effect his solos have on the audience...he's touching their souls. Incredible!

Amazing song. The fact that they performed this song with this much emotion this late in their career is unbelievable! Awesome

I have "sad eyes" and a sad heart knowing the E Street band is likely on it's final legs. Thank you Boss, thank you C. Words can't describe this song.........

I can still remember seeing this song performed the first time in LA 11-3-80 and I couldn't stop crying through the whole thing. It has always been one of my all-time favorites. This one was amazing. The thought of the band being on final legs is just too much to bear.

They will be back, don't worry. Band always announce that they will split up or whatever before a tour to max out publicity and ticket sales. Bruce would not do it differently. I think though that they will take 1 year break. Bruce will write his book, Big Man will have time to do his physical therapy, and after that they're good to go! :)

I sure hope you are right. Playing all these albums is starting to worry me. It is feeling way too final, especially if "Greetings" is played in Buffalo, as rumors predict.

@POINTEBLANC91 How ironic I would write that.....never had a clue I would end up flying from CA to Buffalo at the very last minute and shoot almost the whole show from row 2 behind the stage. A year later, I am still editing it, but now seeing it come alive. It was a fabulous show and still gives me shivers knowing I got there. Now, I am ready to do it again....back to 1978!!
