@JShahera Music is not haram, it depends how you associate with the music. There is a lot of controversy about this topic and many scholars will differ with your opinion. As for musical instruments, given the weakness of the evidence indicating that they are forbidden, the rule to be applied here is that one states all things are originally deemed permissible as long as there is no Shari`ah text that prohibits them.

this brother sounds sooo much better live. his recordings are beautiful as well but they do not do full justice to his beautiful voice. the duff accompaniment really suits him as well. MASHALLAH! SUBHANALLLAH!

Actually what he is using is called a daff and daff is allowed in Islam. When my beloved Rasullulah SAW was entering Madina the young girls of Madina were waiting outside of the city along with everyone else and when Rasullulah SAW reached the gates of the city they sang " Tala Al Badru Alain" and they played the duff. If it was Haram than my beloved Rasullulah SAW would have stopped them right then and there but he didn't. And this shows quite clearly that daff is allowed in Islam.

Brother, please dont put music with ur wonderful nasheed, please! Its haram to hear if any nasheed have music with it.....its true! Music is haram in Islam, but nasheed is halal. Whn u mix halal and haram together, the haram takes the halal's everything........so, it becomes haram too! Please im begging u not to put music with u, Allah already gave u a wonderful voice, Mashallah! U dont need any music with it, trust me!
