Winky: A Feral Kitten's Tale

Hello everyone. My name is Winky. My foster Mommy calls me a survivor. I was a lost and lonely kitten. I was attacked by a raccoon fighting over food. I lost my eye and ran away. The nice rescue lady thought I went to heaven but I came out from hiding a week later! My face was very sore and I was quite hungry. So before I knew it, I was taken to an animal doctor and he fixed my boo boo. Once I am well and neutered, I will be up for adoption. My foster Mommy just took one look and her heart could not ignore my strong will to live.

No the eye was gone when I got him. He needed emergency treatment to get rid of infection and close it up. He is doing great now in his new home

Its a terrible thing in this life when the best thing that ever happened to Winky was to be injured so that he reached out to your heart and became special instead of just one more feral. He's a lucky boy.

I was trying to catch Winky for weeks. Even if he was not injured, I would of helped him. The black kitten you see him playing with.. is his brother that was trapped 2 weeks before him.

There's a female cat at the barn I board my horse at. She just turned up a week or two before Christmas. My family was going to take her in and try and adopt her out after a while or have her live with us. But the owner of the barn wanted to keep her as a barn cat. -.- This cat is the sweetest little girl ever and the lady who owns the barn wants her to live in some hay, with occasional attention. She is soo crazy but we cant argue. So I pet her and play with her when I go to the barn. I have a

Bless you my dear friend. Your compassion brings tears to my eyes. Winky is precious. I wish you both many healthy and wonderful years together. I rescued a lone four week old male kitten from outside of work over a year ago and he has been a big part of my life ever since. He has a lot of Maine Coon in him.

this is what happens when ppl dont watch out for their pets. if you see a feral cat or kitten or dog or puppy, save it's life. It's the least you can do
