Franco Corelli - A Tribute

On the anniversary of the death of the great tenor Franco Corelli may we all remember him for his superlative artistry and unique interpretations.
His voice was truly one of a kind. The greatest heroic tenor of them all. He sang from the heart and the depth of his soul. He constantly challanged himself to make what he achieved even greater by continuing to learn, study and develope his vocal techniques. The king of diminuendi and long phrases. His breath never seemed to be at an end. He sang the most thrilling and glorious high notes of any tenor.

Dear Maestro Corelli, you are missed.

With deep emotion and heartfelt sincerity I honor your memory today.

With due respect to all great tenors of past and present, but Maestro Corelli indeed was one of the greatest voices ever LIVED. The color of his voice was so unique as well as his passion. I also love the way other artists talked about him, especially the famous sopranos he worked with during his career. The all loved him, because he made every role he ever sang so unbelievably credible. Although he left us,but his voice will live on forever.
