Joel Schumacher apologizes for "Batman and Robin"

I don't know why people still hate him, he apologized!

"If there's anybody watching this that, let's say, loathed Batman Forever and went into Batman & Robin with great anticipation -- If I disappointed them in anyway, then I really want to apologize, cause it wasn't my intention. My intention was just to entertain them."

Oh, until Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer stop making movies, I am not changing "loathed" to "loved".

@FastandFurious450 Well you're one of the few ppl who actually hate Nolan's Batman films. As for me, I never saw Batman as anything more than a corny douche with a gay duo with Robin until Batman Begins came along.. what do u think of that first movie? Dark Knight is my no.1 superhero movie, besides Batman's voice (they better fix that this time round and tone it down!).. the movie was awesome. So you like Schumacher's Batman films, or Tim Burton's?

@GamerGuyd7Aces lets just say i thought it sucked. bruce wayne and harvey dent were friends in the comics and the animated series. in this movie they meet at a restaurant? once again we get bale's death metal batman voice, boring filler of bruce wayne going to china, the joker looks cheap and emo, etc. yeah nolan's movies aren't that good. atleast be entertaining if youre gonna change the storyline not put in boring gay filler

I dont understand how this guy, who i actually like as a director, he has some good stuffs (A Time to Kill, Falling Down, Lost Boys.. and i totally LOVE Flatliners) could ´ve possibly done such a crappy Batman movie like B&R, i mean he is a great director he had all the tools to make a decent Batman movie on even Nolan´s league but he just chosed not to.

Anyways, at least Batman Forever was better than crappy Batman Returns from crappy Burton...
