click MORE. The best Jetta exhaust video... 2.5 catback exhaust.

Legend
0-56 Startup and small reving
57-1.28 reving inside and rev outside of car
1.30-1.53. reversed DV sound clip, *dink dink*
2.49-2.55 Best 0-60 in 6seconds
3.10-3.25 The droning.
3.30-end Cruising sound.

Overall, sounds good. very very deeptone and there is NO POPPING!. Its not too loud, or not too quiet. Could use a tip at the end of the muffler to prevent sputter like a horse. Its Not annoying. Is there drone? yes, but its not annoying. It only happens at high rev when u let go off of the gas. Aftera installing the muffer, the torque greatly increased. But small, not noticable horsepower gain. Gas mileage did not increase. ALL Jettas need to be chipped in order to get better gas mileage. I'm going with APR soon....

Part number 11226. 2.5 magnaflow

  • i hear the jettas have a lot of electrical problems and won't really start in the winter when it's 0 degrees fahrenheit,

have you had any problems like that since you've owned yours?

  • I can't say much, i don't live anywhere near that temperature, i can tell you this much, the mass airflow sensor and the spark plug coil packs are known to go bad in this jetta.

  • how much do those normally cost to repair not including labor?

  • well don't replace it if it doesn't need to be. around over 100 dollars. remember ur driving a european car!

  • @brontoe im assuming you have an mk4 jetta, check your local dealer. there is a recall on the coilpacks

  • @Omgturboooo yeah as soon as i got the recall letter, my coilpack blew afterwards. cylinder 4 that is. Done and Done! thanks!

  • @brontoe Got a 2001 1.8t, there was a recall on the coil packs, so head to your local dealer and get them replaced (I know its an old post, but heck, free coil packs!).
