Ambassador Mark Dybul, the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator from 2006-2009 and principal architect of the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), spoke during the Leadership in Global Health Grand Rounds. The Grand Rounds series is a biannual event sponsored by The Global Health Leadership Institute that highlights exceptional examples of leadership in various international settings. On his visit to the School of Public Health, Ambassador Dybul provided a frank assessment of PEPFAR performance to date as well as his vision for the future of U.S. development assistance for HIV/AIDS and insight on the importance of leadership in global health.
