Now that I think back, another local boy had a sick '71 with a 377-ci small block, in a stunning metallic turquoise with silver stars painted on the rear sail panels. He got it into the 10s. Wonder whatever became of it... So many kids in the '80s and '90s built up '60s and '70s cars alongside the Five Ohs, IROCS, GNs, Montes, etc.Seems most kids in my area nowadays don't seem to congregate around cars quite the way we did.I respect those that do.Guess an '80s car is 'old' to them now.
Love the '80s style custom paint job, the hood, etc....reminds me of my long-vanished youth. Used to see muscle-era cars running around all over with similar treatments. My brother's friend had a '72 RS with an L-88 hood and Weld wheels.
