Fukushima Detects Highest Level of Radiation YET !!! 8/1/11 YIKES!

*Note: Single radiation dose of 2,000 millisieverts (200,000 millirems) and above causes serious illness. See also exposure list below.
Half-life of some radioactive elements

[NOTE: Half-life is the time taken for a radioactive substance to decay by half.] * Cesium-134 ~ 2 years * Cesium-137 ~ 30 years * Iodine-131 ~ 8 days * Plutonium-239 ~ 24,200 years * Ruthenium-103 ~ 39 days [Ruthenium is a fission product of uranium-235.] * Ruthenium-106 ~ 374 days * Strontium-90 ~ 28.85 years [Strontium-90 is a product of nuclear fission and is found in large amounts in spent nuclear fuel and in radioactive waste from nuclear reactors.] * Uranium-234 ~ 246,000 years * Uranium-235 ~ 703.8 million years * Uranium-238 ~ 4.468 billion years

  • Here in Canada we hide our shit.... I do a lot of driving past a clean natural gas generating station... If I go by at 430am with a moon I see a greenish brown spew out the chimneys but if I go by during the day... god nothin happinin there... same with a glass plant on my drive... never see emissions during the day when the max filters are in place....not too related but we are what we breathe too...

  • The Japanese are screwed and then the rest of us are getting screwed in the process. Do not eat anything from the ocean because when you mix Fukushima's leak disaster and the Gulf of Mexico disaster we are facing a super bad equation, this is how it works: FLD + GOM=WE ARE ALL SCREWED!!! Thanks so much to all the corporations that have made this equation possible...I mean, actual!!! Peace Out. MWUD??????????????

  • @Hemnir Tokyo Sky Tree

  • The food chain is ruined I will never eat fish again and I am on tankwater so we have to buy distilled water every week I believe tepco and GE should be paying for everyone to have safe water and that is just for starters you f@#k it you fix it but they can't can they so we just have to bend over and take it from behind whilst the media blacks out the worste catastrophe we have ever faced shame on you media whore

  • When I had my first job at McDonald's in the early '70s, they admitted the fish sandwiches were shark. It doesn't matter which fish they are, fish are too toxic to eat. For a long time now. Uprated.
