http://www.guitarmaps.com/ Jam along to The Thrill is gone by BB King. This is a great song to play with and improvise guitar solos. It will help you expand you guitar solos by using the B minor guitar map. The guitar map shows you every note you can play for great sounding leads. Try it out or see more songs.

  • cool

  • Thanks! Sweet backing track. Got me playing a whole new way.

  • Great stuff.........

  • thanks...now im there

  • which notes should you bend the flat 5th?

  • B C# D E F# G A B The reason why you can play these particular notes is because they create the overall sound of B Minor. To make a Bm you play the chords B D F# (those are all notes in the scale) To play a Bm7 You'd play B D F# A.. On a seperate note, to play an E Major you play E B G# These are all triads. See how E major contains the E and B of the B minor scale but the G in the Major Chords is sharpened to make this E chord fit in the scale we have to flat the third chaning it from a G# to a

  • You can play any circled note. the fret numbers are listed above. See how the seventh fret has dots all along it? you can play any of those notes. The red circled note on the fretboard is the root note of the scale. A major scale goes W W W H W W H starting with the root. A minor scale is the major scale except with a flatted 3rd and flatted 6th making it W W H W W H W W. W = Whole tone (skipping a fret) H = semi or half tone (not skipping) from the dot (B) in this case you can play

  • you see those white \red circles? just say it in whatever pattern you like. scales make them sound like solos. ;]

  • Always starting with the root note is a begginner's mistake
