I'm just joining in the fun with the others who have played jitterboogie on youtube.

There are mistakes, but I liked the groove so I kept it. For fans of the original recorded version, which is substantially slower than a lot of live renditions both by Hedges as well as by others who know the song, here's the quirky tempo/rhythm you may have been longing for. ^_^

Overall, it sounds like it's being recorded with a... digicam. That's because it is. But, I do what I can with what I've got, for the time being.

  • Thanks for all the responses guys. You're all very nice to say dat stuffs. :D

I plan on trying it with the new Martin M-38, but it simply doesn't sound right with light strings. So I will be going to medium, and drilling a hole for a strap. We'll see what happens with this, and with Aerial Boundaries :D

  • Thanks for the comments guys. I have watched this a few times and realized where it needs work, so this won't be my last attempt. :)

  • That was Alyssa. She loves my pretties. .-.

  • I was not expecting much before the video started...but WOW!!! great video!!!!

  • Nah, I learned it by eyes and ears from watching Michael Hedges uploads on this very website. Trial, error, and persistence. In this case, practice didn't make perfect, but, pretty good in hindsight. I really need a carbon fiber guitar like a rainsong that I can spank the crap out of and is more resonant, and a better microphone, before I do this for you guys again. I am okay at Aerial Boundaries but I admit to being out of practice. I have WAY too many hobbies...

  • Absolutely brilliant performance. Five and a half stars!
