[Note: This video is PRETTY LOUD, LEMME TELL'YA. So you might want to turn the volume down a little bit.]
Hello, and welcome to my playthrough of Kirby's Adventure! This is just a little intro thing I did. The narration ("One day, the peaceful life of Dream Land...") is from the track "Vegetable Valley 2" from XOC's album. The first video can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wF5VrTvzrVs
UGH! This is the second time I've had to upload this video...I've "fixed" the synching and the volume issues, though it's really YouTube's fault. Unfortunately, this means I had to "re-record" the video to fix this, lowering the bit rate and the quality of the video, so it probably sounds like crap. This does NOT apply to all the other videos. However, for the time being, videos 1-4 are still the "un-fixed" versions; they are very quiet and probably slightly out of sync. Hopefully I can account for all the videos beyond those...Again, UGH YouTube!
*ahem* Anyway...

I've had XOC's "SMW" album (covers of Super Mario World) sitting on my hard drive for a while. Rummaging through archive.org, I saw that he had also done a Kirby's Adventure album in the same vein. It's pretty darn impressive. The day after I downloaded it, I got the idea for these videos.
This is all going to be a little new to me...not only is this my first runthrough I've posted on YouTube (someday, I'll start that Hyper Zone playthrough...maybe), it will also be the first time I've beat Kirby's Adventure! What's worse is that I just beat Kirby Super Star Ultra on 100%, so I'm used to its control (Both A and Up make Kirby jump and float...not so in this game).
I've tried my best to stay faithful to the music in the game, as far as timing goes. I'm really OCD about that, and I'll spend hours on it. The only editing I've done to XOC's music is trimming and looping. (Well, except for that lame "Star Rod" business in this video :-p ) I wish I could have just the sound effects from the game, but I couldn't only mute the music, so I just turned the volume down on the game sound. Some of the higher-pitched/louder sound effects can be heard, but so can some of the music. Whatever, I'm still pleased with the result.

All that being said, this is a pretty rad game and I hope you enjoy watching me play through it! Go download XOC's stuff NOW!
The intro almost made me rofl for real. xD
