If there were less greed in this world there would be less suffering for sure. I recently had an awful experience with someone who claimed to be in love with me until realizing I'm not as wealthy as they'd initially thought. This person stopped taking my calls after I invited them over, literally hours after suggesting we should become a couple. After a lot of insistence, they admitted that wealth was the reason. I am still devastated and looking for answers. Thanks for the great wisdom.

No, there is not just one spot, but all the parts and the conciousnes is "me". You cannot deny that we are alive. If you are so convinced that your body doesn't exist, then how come i'm watching you on youtube??? Also, how come you cannot escape the reality you are in?????

No one is denying that we are alive. Buddhists question what really is the "me." Does the self exist in the body? If so, what if you lose an arm in an accident? Are you the same person? What if you have a heart transplant? A brain transplant?
The Buddha looked at each part of human existence: form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. He found there was no "me" in any or all of them. He also said putting "me" where it doesn't exist is the fundamental cause of our suffering.

Furthermore, Buddhism doesn't fall into existentialism (everything exists) or nihilism (nothing exists). Instead, the Buddha only talked about causes and conditions. When this happens, that happens. When this doesn't happen, that doesn't happen. When we act with a mind full of anger, greed or ignorance we suffer and cause others to suffer. When we act with a mind full of patience, love, compassion and wisdom we find happiness and cause others to find happiness. Simple, if we let it be.

No problem, but it is Venerable Wu Ling who gave this talk, and I am not her. :-) Best wishes though!
