http://www.pbs.org/lifepart2 Rabbi Marc Disick of Temple Sinai in Stamford, Connecticut, argues that religion aside, God is what happens between people in a community. The new season of LIFE (PART 2) is on PBS, see entire episodes online at http://www.pbs.org/lifepart2
Slickshow, although I can understand where you're coming from, I don't think you have grasped the meaning of the Rabbi's message. There is a big difference in being alone and feeling alone. One never knows what the future holds so we cannot
predict our actions and emotions based on what we can do today. Tomorrow we may not be able to do these things. Take it from someone who knows first hand....

For me, I don't think being alone is...or will be..."hell": I have always been able to keep myself busy and occupied with my interests.
