This is a demo for the Dramatic Narrative - Visual Communication 6 class that I teach at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Every week, the class receives a sentence or script that needs to be visualized into a conceptual painting. This demonstration represents the processes that can be used to isolate each of the visual requirements for a strong storytelling composition. This is a 4.5 hour demo in 4.5 minutes. Thank you for watching

  • Really awesome work man. Kind of interesting methods you use - I see a TON of photo manipulation techniques employed here to make this, I dare say it was like 50% painting technique, 50% photo manipulation technique. Never really seen someone do it that way before, apparently it works well lol. Nice to see something other than pin-ups too.
