urdu zuban kisi khas mazhab ki zuban nahi hai......main indian punjabi hoon aur punjabi ke sath sath urdu zuban se behadd muhabbat rakhta hoon.....aur punjabi mein she'r kahne ke sath sath urdu mein bhi she'r kahta hoon.....bhai urdu zuban ahl-e-dil ki,ahl-e-qalam ki zuban hai is mein do rai nahi hai....aur is ki traqi mein ghair-muslim adba ka bahut haath hai.....shukriya.

...very trie...I am one of them 'jo urdu ki loch aur khanak ko samajhte hain'....I definitely have an ear for urdu, and appreciate its beauty/sweetness......it definitely is an eloquent language.

Urdu is a language on teh contrary hindi is not a language its a blend of sanscret, urdu & malayalum but with the script of sanscret & has been endorsed hindi as a language which is actually not, Sanscret has its own fascination & very glowing language but also little difficult as well :)

@orkhan1-Urdu and Hindi may have same syntax structures, but the vocabulary they draw from is different and which distinguishes the two from each other. If both the languages are same then was it not incorrect to replace Urdu which was the predominant language of durbars, bazaars and adalats during the independence era, other than English ofcourse!Actually the decline of Urdu in India has had an unintended sideffect: the decline of public etiquette and refinement.Delhi and Lucknow show that.
