Martin Eisenstadt, Sr. Fellow at the Harding Institute, announces the winners of the 2010 Harding awards for Best Crafted Apologies of the Year in the categories of Politics, Sports, Entertainment and Twitter. The so-called "Hardies" are like the Pulitzer Prize of apologies.

You should add a new category for 2011's awards: "Best Performance Using a Poor Man's Teleprompter." I'd nominate Jon Voight for his reading of an open letter to the American people on Huckabee's show. Maybe second runner-up would be Sarah Palin for her Tea Party hand-job.
