  • nice idea, entire spiritual text/art/ music collection as an internal symbolic gesture,, I like that. The usb can be much more, you can also have portable apps that handle web browsing/messenger/video on the usb etc to use on a someone elses windows machine, usb home from home. On mine I have a linux operating system to boot into as well, which came in useful on holiday in the states.....

  • It's funny you'd mention Linux. I've sort of incorporated the Open Source philosophy as part of my "religion" and outlook on life. Maybe I'll put Linux on my USB!

  • I am trying to only use linux and open source soltions, though I have to admit to still using a commercial video editing app in windows. Things are getting easier, from a live cd of Ubuntu/pclinuxos/fedora or Puppy linux you can install to a usb very easy, no reformatting required, your data can still be used alongside this. the portable apps website have many free programs for live USBs
