One Saturday morning in 2003, Jim Harrell received a call delivering the kind of news no one wants to hear. His doctor told Jim he had Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Better known as ALS. Or Lou Gehrig's disease. How Jim reacted, and what has happened since that day will encourage people dealing in crises. With his story, people are gaining an understanding of how God works in life's difficult situations
Part 1 introduces Jim, and offers an insight into his humanness when learning of his disease.
Ty for sharing this video, my mother at 59 yrs old was diagnosed with ALS. I've been crying for 3 days, and this is the first human video I've seen dealing with it at your perspective. I'm not sure where my family will go from here, but we are meeting to see a doc film on ALS together, to get a grip on what we can expect to happen in the times coming. Everything, I saw what is happening to my mom, being normal, no slurred speech, nothing. But, an incidence that changes a family and lifetime.
