Basura en el Cañon Sumidero (Trash in Sumidero Canyon)

At one point, the river which flows through El Cañon Sumidero (near San Cristóbal de las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico) has some very odd currents on account of the contours of the river bottom. The visible result is a band of immobilized water on top of the main current of the river. All the garbage that come down the river gets stuck here and boats have to ram their way through.
