Ryan Hannah and Steve Cook hike up Mt. Mulanje from the bottom Forestry Office at Likibula via the Chapaluka path to Chisepo hut and then on to Sapitwa peak (10,000 ft). Steep paths and great views!

  • Thanks for the comments. I love Mulanje. I try to get up there two or more times a year. It is different each time. Physically challenging and beautiful, no matter the time of the year.

  • I first climbed Mulanje when I was 6 years old with my old man and fellow mountaineers. We later conquered Mt Kenya and Kilimanjaro, culminating with the Himalayas. I was 17 when I set foot on Kanchenjunga and Nanda Devi, it was an exhilarating experience!.

  • GENIAL!! je reconnais cette cascade qui mène au mt mulanje, on s'y est baigné !!

d'après notre guide, c'est très profond, quelqu'un peut me confirmer la profondeur ?

    magnifique!!!

  • i went up mulanje in july this year. couldnt climb sapitwa due to bad conditions. we took a different route up, starting at likhabula (had a nice swim in the rock pools) we went up to the CCAP hut and then to Chisepo the next day. We were on the mountain for 8 days finishing up at Fort Lister on the other side. We stayed at the Sombani hut, Tuchila hut aswell.
