@dalvarezmartinez2 Raelert's error (IMO) was pulling up to Macca. He should have rested up, 100m back, once he'd closed, and then attempted to blow by him once he was rested. It's psychological as much as physical.

even though I prettty much dispise the race because it hurts so freaking much - I love watchin this epic battle - macca is quite the competitor and I sure hope he returns to kona to battle it out with all the contenders once again. His ITU speedwork will help this true strategist win again - I believe. Wonder if he wants to give it another go - my two favourite triathletes head to head - crowie and macca - wow that would be great!!

@tatohej hmm not sure I understand perfectly the concept of "doggy business" but yes I don't mean it in a good way, Macca is the smartest guy in my opinion and he likes to push buttons otherwise I don't know what happened to Raelert from shoulder to shoulder to finish 1min and 40 secs behind, with 1 mile to go in the marathon!!! But again this is only my opinion and I'm possibly wrong...
