Sly 2 Band of Thieves Walkthrough - Episode 1 - Breaking and Entering

Use this walkthrough of Breaking and Entering in Sly 2: Band of Thieves to infiltrate Dimitri's operation, eventually taking some helpful photos of his dastardly doings. You'll also learn some valuable techniques which Sly can use to avoid and/or take down enemies. When you've got your shots, you'll move on to the next phase of the operation, Bug Dimitri's Office.

Following your successful jimmying of the dishes in the previous level, you'll need to break into the boss's hideout, where you'll be able to take some useful pictures of your eventual goal. Head down into the wine cellar, where you'll meet up with Murray. He'll help you beat up the rats guarding the cellar, then, when they're all out of the way, he'll move the gate out of the way, letting you double jump over it.  Now head down the hallway, avoiding the first few laser grids by simply not hitting them. Bentley will let you know how to avoid the next set: crawl underneath the conveniently placed tables. Keep moving down the hallway, until you come to an area guarded with a guy with a flashlight. Use the long table here to sneak past him, then move on, smashing objects and collecting coins as you go. There's another guard, and another, smaller table, up ahead. Now crawl into the air ducts, and continue forward. In Dimitri's office, sneak up behind the guard, using the techniques suggested by Bentley. When the guard's gone, the laser grid will drop, allowing you to move forward down the hallway. Sneak through another grid, then get behind the next guard, and take him down the same way. Just ahead are more rats, who you can either sneak up behind and stealthily take out, or just take on head to head. There are plenty of the, here, or at least there will be if you advertise your presence, but you should be able to take them all out.Crawl into another vent, and you'll find yourself in a large room. Follow Bentley's instructions to take your photos, gathering information on all the illegal doings here. Be sure to get a shot of Dimitri himself, the tail feathers you're looking for, and the generator far across the room. After you're done, you'll be briefed by Bentley on the coming operations.
