To continue:
* it's more correct to say that Everest is the highest mountain in the world not the largest
* Hillary did in fact take credit for being the first to step on top, but he did it, cowardly, after Tenzing died
* May 29 was not Tenzing's real birthday; he, in fact didn't know when his real birthday was, so each year after the summit he celebrated his birthday on May 29

You've made a couple mistakes in your report.
* his name is pronounced Tenz-ing, not Ten-zing
* not all Sherpas become sherpas (there is a difference between those two spellings)
* Tenzing and Hillary were not friends, they were climbing partners. Tenzing's true mountaineer friend was Raymond Lambert
* Tenzing was not born in Nepal, he was born in Tibet, likely in Moyey in the Kharta Valley
* not all Nepali villages are surrounded mountains, especially not those in the south
