Sorry about the sound last time. Not sure what happened. For more free tutorials

http://ipaintgirls.com for drawing and painting

I plan to put all the tutorials up for screenwriting at masteredit.net :)

If you have any questions about what was covered in this video, please leave them in the comments. This video is an introduction to the series, why formatting is important, and a bit about formatting.

  • nice video

  • Awesome video ... it's awesome your doing this series ... I started writing a screenplay and this really helps because some of the things your said not to do I already did, and now I have to make a few changes but I'm glad i found out. I can't wait to see the next one.

  • @architectus777 very true

  • @ventricity Yeah, that's fine. When you first introduce a character, you are allowed to write things we don't know about them yet.

  • love tutorials such as these. i have been wondering in the case of information to the reader. because the reader is not the viewer, so sometimes it can be useful to describe characteristics that the viewer don't see immediately. For instance; sometimes i write descriptions or actions that set the tone and atmosphere. also in character descriptions i have a tendancy to write things that aren't shown yet (like "badass" or "intelligent")
