@mapoutthestars Crystal will look like Crystal to them BECAUSE SHE'S NOT A REAPER.
There was no indication, none, that she's anything more than just a very weird human being. Especially since, in the pilot, George saw Crystal when she first started working there BEFORE she died, and she looked the same as she did AFTER she became a Reaper.

@stilltainted922 If she were intended to be a Reaper, the writers would have made it so Crystal would have appeared to us differently. The writers were VERY quick to change the rules of the show, if it meant giving us a better story.
One need only look at how original the gravelings couldn't be seen by the reapers. By the second season, that rule was made null.
Only thing I think is that Crystal isn't a Reaper, but she's fully aware of who they are. Like Kiffany.

@RoyalGuard503 other reapers and we (the audience) see reapers the way they truly look all the time. we don't know how she appears to, say, Herbig but if she were in fact a reaper, she would look the same to George no matter what and therefore, look the same to us.

@stilltainted922 No, that was just a costume. She took off her hood, and she still looked the same. Ergo, not a reaper.
