@tubegeg Um, the whole point of what Greenwald was saying is that he *wasn't* tough on anyone. Did you ever watch the video? He would speak with government officials and not report on any information the government didn't want him to report on - thus the "propaganda" aspect.
If you actually sit down and think about it, you'll realize that the only reason you think he was a hard-hitting, fair journalist is because the media has told you this for many years.

He was a disgrace. He interviewed Helen Thomas about an off record comment that leaked saying "nothing is off the record" and she gave him a you gotta be kidding look. Priceless, he turned red and was very uncomfortable. Scooter trial he testified ALL comments are off the record unless given permission. And Cheney "We control the message" on MTP. Good riddance, sorry you died but not sorry you're gone.

Tim Russert was a disgrace to the reporters profession. He was as a PROPAGANDIST, nothing more nothing less, and most certainly not a man to celebrate.
