Ok as a chef i have no problems with food alergies or intollerences. But for the love of god would you phone ahead if you are vegan, celiac and/or lactos free. Makes everyones lives much easier.

This is unbelievable - my partner has this illness, it's no joke. If she is poisoned with gluten she will be violently ill and so unwell she might miss three or four days at work. Plus, the long term effects include bowel cancer and osteoporosis. How ignorant and insensitive - its hard enough having to go over this stuff every time we go out for dinner or to a friend's place for a meal without people with a public profile ridiculing and belittling this condition, like its a form of neurosis.
