It appears as though the Wii Components Cable works for GameCube games as well. Joy.

  • i put my wii on my big tv and the grafics were really shit, i got the component cables and it did nothing. biggist fuckin rip off ever, Fuckin nintendo shit, nintendo can go fuck itself for selling stuff just to rob money

  • Did you change the settings on the Wii to 480 (EDTV)?

  • 480p is not high-def. It's ED (enhanced definition). Since you're not getting a higher pixel density, you're just getting it go from interlaced to progressive.

  • because @NintendoStar01 said that it doesnt work so come on wtf

  • does it work with my gamecube? cause the regular cables are the same

  • @TheReturnofDogen it's high-er-def

  • You forgot to switch to 16:9 in the game itself.

  • PAL in is New Zealand?!?! I thought it was European and African??!!

  • YES!!!!!

  • If I use a component cable on a gamecube do the games look much better than with a composite cable?

  • haha 480p is not HD. its EDTV by the way

  • Oh if your running on PAL and component doesn't work on your wii your system may be due to having a diffrant PAL system than other people who can play 480p on there version on PAL. A good article is on Wikipedia.
