Well, it all depends on what you're getting. There are specific games that require either the 4MB or 1MB cart to play, and you're just going to have to figure that out for what games you want. If you have a US Saturn and you want to play Japanese games on it, you're going to have to either buy a Japanese Saturn or get a 4in1 cart. The 4in1 cart plugs in the cart slot, and it will act as a 4MB, 1MB, and a region mod for your Saturn. Older models had bad compatibility, though.
