Here is a brief excerpt from the Oneness Bhakti Yoga teachings on Gratitude:

Many times we say, "Lord, you have done so much for me. How can I ever express my gratitude?" Saying this we escape. To one man from a village nearby Golden City, his Antaryamin (Indweller) Bhagavan told him, "It is true, at a deeper level you cannot do anything, but in the physical plane you are living with Me, so express your gratitude formally. By doing this you are binding Me and I am compelled to do a favor for you. Your personal relationship grows."

1. We are here when the Avatar is on this planet.... express gratitude
2. To see the Lords feet is a great blessing, we are getting Deeksha from the Padukas; people in India consider this as good karma accumulated through many births.... express gratitude
3. We are able to hear the teachings of the Avatar directly.... express gratitude
4. Without any difficulty by just calling out the name of AmmaBhagavan we are receiving Grace.... express gratitude
5. The Avatar is giving us Mukthi (Liberation).... express gratitude.
6. AmmaBhagavan are there protecting your family all the time.... express gratitude
7. We have got the opportunity to serve (seva bhagyam).... express gratitude
8. AmmaBhagavan are solving our health & financial problems.... express gratitude
9. We are going to witness the great changes which are going to happen on this planet.... express gratitude
10. For mankind's enlightenment AmmaBhagavan need all your help; because you are helping They are expressing gratitude

AmmaBhagavan expressing Their Gratitude is an example to us.
