I remember the Ritzys gig in the late 80s, and also saw them in Villas (on Crown St, top of Windmill Brae) around the same time. They were great live, Marco Rossi was a superb guitarist.
His Mother Natures Kitchen album is still one of my all-time favourites, even if I don't hear it for a year or more I can sing every song word perfect from start to finish. I'm off to dig it out and play it - followed by Bedazzled.
His later stuff wasn't too shabby either.

I was at the Ritzys gig. You are right, he should have been massive
One of the greatest mysteries, I have no idea why KMO never made it outside of Scotland. Seen them many, many times whilst a student, even in my old local, the Uisge Beatha, Woodlands Rd - forget Oasis, a million times more talented - no copy cats, they had originality, lyrics, melody, passion and above all true talent - a rare commodity indeed. Obviously just lacking in good PR.

I am not big on folk music... but I had this cd recommended to me 15 years ago and I fell in love with it..... a great album all the way through.
