This is a video response to loki2504's video response to my video response.. oh man, it gets complicated. We're just passionate about langauges, so there's lots to say.
These are the two sites I mentioned::
www.koreanclass101.com
www.talktomeinkorean.com

  • Hi Kerri :) I did the same thing with kclass101. Whenever I compare my notes to the PDFs it looks like I just rewrote whats in them hehe.

It helped me get the grammar and vocab to stick and I quickly felt more comfortable writing hangeul.

  • 안녕 칼로~~ thanks for your comment. i find when i listen extra closely to the lessons, figure out what is being said, and write it down, that the whole process really helps me to remember the words, and listening multiple times helps with learning intonation too. 열심히 공부!!

  • @expatkerri ehhhh I'm sorry i had to reply to your comment but I hate this new youtube layout. I can't even find a way to post a comment -_-. Yes jeju has a totally different dialect than that of seoul. The dialect in jeju is so different not even Korean ppl understand them, so dont feel too bad that you couldn't understand

  • @waterflowzz ~~ thanks for the comment. i also replied late!! i wanna go back to jeju and challenge myself... now that i know more korean !

  • Have you tried Arabic? it’s awesome any easier than other languages

  • 열심히 공부. ㅋ 귀여우시네요ㅎㅎㅎ 한번 만났으면 좋겠다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • What other means have you used to learn Korean? I am using a friend's Rosetta Stone right now, and I am also looking into buying some books. I am thinking about getting Korean for Dummies, and Korean, Vol. 1 by Foreign Service Institute Staff, which made a Japanese vol. that I used in high school. I have also tried byki, but it seemed a little to simple; & koreanclass101, but they seem to move a little to fast for me. If you could help me think of some ways, that would be lovely. =)

  • Eh wow I just bumped into your videos and pretty cool that I'm learning korean too and i use koreanclass101 but thanks to you now i can also use talktomeinkorean haha. I go to college in Toronto too! So cool, you seem to know alot of Korean, I hope to get to that point too!
