I have just purchased one of these. I am new to all this and need to know if this DCC sound chip will only work with digital control or will the decoder sound on a standard control system such as what comes wwith Hornby train packs - thanks

I got a sound chip for 40quid which just plugs into an existing chip[piggy back] alot cheaper but not as many functions, obviously... a cheaper routte, especially if you have lots of models chipped up already

ive got the other 37, cloedbach,these are fantastic models to operate dont you think ? trouble is all my other locos seem really dull now.looks like im going to spend some more money..........
