My hamster would have so chewed a hole out of all of that to get out.. i had to put her in a cage with chicken wire because she manages to get out of any and everything.

LOL, imagine when 1 of your hamsters is climbing through the tube from a cage, and the other hamster is also climbing through the same tube from the other end from another cage, then when the 2 hamsters meet, I can't imagine who they'll give way to first. LOL

The two systems aren't joined up, because Gucci and Parada don't get along together. It mihgt only be a few little squabbles, but since I work long hours and am not there to supervise them during the day, I chose to keep them seprarate, just to play it safe. They seem perfectly happy with their living set-up, tho!

Gucci and Prada came into my life under unusual, rather unbelieveable circumstances, so yeah, I thought more unusual, grander-sounding names were called for! But usually, my pets are named with people-names, not 'pet' names. No offense to those who do name their pets like this, but it's just a habit of mine.

I clean 2-3 cages and some tubing every day and it takes around an hour. All of it is cleaned at least every 10 days (usually, it's every 6 or 7 days, unless I am VERY busy with work.) They are also completely toilet trained, so I clean their potties out every 2 days and the cages tend to be much less smelly, this way.
